Reminders list screen

It is the main application screen. In the screen title, there is a category selection field. When the application is just installed, there is a set of predefined categories. You can change these categories and change the sorting order. To do this, select «Manage categories» from the menu.

Every list item takes two rows. The first row displays the reminder title, the second — the reminder date/time for active reminders, or «inactive» caption for inactive reminders.

The following menu items are available:

• Add reminder — to create a new reminder;
• Edit reminder — to edit a selected reminder. This item is available when the reminders list is not empty;
• Remove reminder — to remove a reminder. This item is available when the reminders list is not empty;
• Date calculator — invokes the date calculator;
• Filter, Sort — runs an additional menu for filtering and sorting the reminders list; There are the following menu items available:
  • All filters — OFF — disables all filters, including the search result filter;
  • Active reminders — shows only active reminders;
  • Inactive reminders — shows only inactive reminders;
  • Both — shows active and inactive reminders;
  • Important reminders — shows only the reminders with the checked «High importance» field;
  • Regular reminders — shows only the reminders with the unchecked «High importance» field;
  • Both — shows regular and important reminders;
• Menu items for sorting purposes are visible when more than one reminder is available. The following menu items are available:
  • Ascending by title — sorts the reminder list alphabetically in the ascending order (turned on by default);
  • Descending by title — sorts the reminder list alphabetically in the descending order;
  • Ascending by date — sorts the reminder list in the ascending order according to the reminder date;
  • Descending by date — sorts the reminder list in the descending order according to the reminder date;
• Find reminder — invokes the reminder search screen. The application searches in the reminder title and note fields. Search is not case-sensitive;
• Skip next alarm — skips the next alarm on the selected reminder. A non-recurrent reminder will enter the inactive state. A recurrent reminder will be set to the next date according to its recurrence settings;
• Manage categories — opens the categories list screen;
• Settings — invokes the additional menu:
  • Alarm settings — to set up the alarm settings;
  • List appearance setup — to set up the look of the reminder list;
  • Reset list appearance — to reset the reminders list appearance;
• Invoke Calendar — Invokes the standard BlackBerry Calendar application;
• Backup — Allows to make backup of application data;
• Restore — Allows to restore the application data from saved .backup file;
• About — Shows information about the product and the trial days left for unregistered product;
• Register application — this menu item is visible in a non-registered application. It opens the application registration screen;
• Close — hides the reminder list screen, the application keeps running.
